It should be a day for celebration
as I finally handed in my draft to Kerry - not really a final draft, but I can't be bothered anymore
Yet worry destroys the supposingly joyful mind..
why?
I shall talk about it on or after Tuesday,
if I can take it.. at all.
God bless me, and those rushing their works (:

The End
It came to the very end of week 12 of semester 2 of my final year
Attended two lectures today -
Tim Jones' Mental Health & the Elderly and Jonathan Elcock's Social Constructionism
And.. that's it!
We took a few pictures in our favourtite lecture room TC001 (:
not going to write too much about my 3 years uk uni life, perhaps until I finish my exam on 7th of May
Totally have no life recently
Sleep at 2am, or sometimes 5am, 3pm, 5pm
and have dinner at 9pm or 12am
totally random!
Just sleep whenever I feel my brain isn't functioning
then wake up in 3-6 hours, ignoring the real world day and night time -_-"
Apart from myself, I think the thing that works hard as well is my alarm clock XD
Anyway, why am I free to blog?
Today I went to see my diss supervisor Kerry Rees
Guess what!! he allows me to hand in my final draft on Monday
it changed the fact from 2000-word-a-day to 1000-word-a-day, plus the reference, appendix and some amendments.. Love him!!
I really wonder why - I'm probably the earliest who started my diss - before summer last year, but ended up having no life to finish it up. huibee, damn sat bai la you..
Really appreciate Kerry's help, hope I'll be able to work out the best of my final of final draft.
And then, 3 final papers waiting for me - shouldn't be a big problem
hopefully I will be working hard enough to impress myself (please remind HuiBee about this as often as you can..)
just realized I haven't talked to mama for 2-3 weeks -_-"
Can they still remember they have a daughter in the UK?!?!
one final thing -
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY to the girl that deserve all the happiness in the world - PEIMAN!!

Just to blog
Aaaaaaah!! Can't believe it, I hadn't blogged for one week!!
think it's the longest gap so far (except when I'm away of course :)), and this is no good!
I may become the blogger who blog only once a month! no good no good!
But recently I'm only exposed to 2 things
1 assignments/dissertation
2 viwawa
So how on earth can I possibly blog something nice, interesting, fresh, positive etc?
I'm thinking maybe the "2" should be "1".. XD
having kind of severe addiction on it now, and my work is getting more and more behind, especially my dissertation
Just can't get motivated, on the very final 3 weeks of my uni life.. losing control on myself..
P.S. Many Thanks to those leaving comments on my previous post, very impressive - of who actually read my blog.. :D. Hope you guys got to share my happiness, I can still feel a bit excited - it's one week later already!

All England Super Series Badminton Tournament 2009
I can't believe that!! I had been wanting to go to watch since I came to the UK, and thanks very very much to Jeffrey (for what? I dont know!), I think it's he and me that make this happened! Although it's not the final match, I'm more than happy and contented today.. really, very seriously. Let's start the day from the noon, when we (Bpeng and me) were in the train..
Marv called me, asking where we were and guess what? they were having lunch in the same restaurant with Lee Chong Wei, Tan Boon Heong and their coaches. OMGGGG!! I was damn excited after hearing that, and feel like jump from the train and run there!!
After arriving, we rushed ourselves there to meet Marv, WaiLeng and Dayna. At the second I pushed the door in, guess who was at the other side of the door....... Taufik!! Then, trying to calm myself, we sat down first and started a bit chatting, while waiting Chongwei they all to finish their meals.
What next? two persons passed by, WaiLeng and Dayna were saying something like "two gays", but I recognized them!! the one walking at the front was Xie Xin Fang (谢杏芳), and of course the guy walking with her was Lin Dan (林丹).. I got kind of excited and asked Marv, shall we.....?!?!
Then immediately, not even Waileng being able to react, Marv, Bpeng and me ran to chase them.. lollll.. I swear, I never did this in my life, I never chase Leehom, SHE, Yanzi or whoever!! And my first time is for LinDan.. -_-" Then we realized two of them were pak-tor-ing.. But insisted not to let ourselves regret, we decided to interupt them.. while Marv and I were still discussing who and how to approach them, Bpeng already went to say "不好意思" (excuse me).. Then we took photos with them..!!!!!!! although they didnt seem to be very happy, but still quite friendly la.. (at least didnt say no ma!) I was so excited that my hands shaked! Before we left, we did remember to 加油 for them..
Superstar Lindan and his pretty gf.
Then with such huge excitements, 3 of us went back and took photos with ChongWei and Kuan Beng Hong, at this time, Tan Boon Heong went to toilet -_-" (when he came out and saw us taking photos, he walked out directly...)
The Malaysian happy family.. :D
Guess who took this photo? The couch!! lol.. they're very friendly!!
Look at his smile, so ... err.. fake yet real, guess he learnt that from me..
Next I saw Marv and WaiLeng busy taking photos with the couches, whereas ChongWei was doing nothing there, so I approached him and said "宗伟,可以跟你再拍张照吗" OMFG, I called him ChongWei... -_-" it's like we are old mates or something like that.. *shy*
Errr.. I feel I look like a superstar, more than he does.. XD
The world number 1s, I've met them both!! taken photos..!! We were so excited and couldn't calm ourselves down for such a long time..!! seriously... My brain wasn't functioning after that, didn't even feel like eating although I was really hungry! It's kind of waste not taking pics with Tan and also Taufik.. it'd be perfect if we'd met Koo Tan also..
Then in the evening, we walked to the NIA to watch the quarter final matches. Kind of disappointing and I guess it doesn't really worth my sleeping time to blog about it.. Ahahaha.. just kidding, but the matches of the Men Doubles, both were disappointing.. : ( we watched 4 Malaysians games, and only ChongWei won.. Even Koo and Tan lost : (
But it was GREAT!! to support the Malaysian team live! not on the TV, not shouting to the TV, but there, when you shouted "malaysia boleh" or "xx jia you", they can hear it! To see some live matches just right in front your eyes, and our seats were great too! To feel the smash and the reactions of the audience.. very ganjiong!! To shout randomly with some other unknown yet familiar malaysians. To meet those superstars.. well worth.. seriously!
Very happy today, very distinct exciting experience.. Hope the Malaysian badminton has brighter future.. and those top seeded players can be... more stable! I'd want to go again if there is another opportunity! Malaysia Boleh!!

Fresh
I feel so much better now, thank you very much for whoever showed concerns
they're all very much appreciated
I don't know what happened and I thought I could be so depressed that you know, in term of clinically depressed, in term of mental health problem
because I sat in front of the laptop and crying for nothing, yup, it may not be nothing, it's just something that I don't even can give a guess..
And I think that's because I'm a psychologist, it makes me aware of many things, that as a so-called normal people shouldn't be aware of..
anyway, I'm OK now, getting better I guess, trying best not to just pretend good but be real good, and hoping people around me are all fine too.
This morning Jeff, Shinyee and I went to a park for a ... WALK
I wanted to go jogging, serious, for many reasons,
for the feeling of sweating and healthy..
for my old best mate who was once jogging 7km marathon with me
for a pair of jogging shoes that I wished to buy but I quited jogging.. lol
(but for some sorts of reasons we ended up just walking)
The place was really nice.. It made me feel really fresh after coming back..
and felt the local life.. bringing your kids around, to the playground, to look at the little animals, to feel the spring, to simply breath the fresh air..
it's a bit odd la.. having that kind of retiree life at my age, but the feeling was good, as you get to leave you assignments problems difficulties and pain ...
we saw old couples walking and sitting by the lake, and imagining 50 years later.. :D
But.. I don't feel the motivation, the power, the force come to me yet
don't feel like doing many works yet..
whereas in fact in 3 weeks time, the last semester of my uni is officially coming to an end, 3 weeks!
unbelievable..
need some motivation.. or perhaps .. stress?
This Friday we're going to Birmingham for the All England badminton tournament!!!
It's just a quater final though
but I'm still damn excited with it..
hopefully get to see some nice matches..
Want to go to Alton Tower, to go skiing, to plan my not-so-bright future, to travel with Sammi and the others, to some nice cities in the UK, to sit down and have nice chats and laugh for silly things, to go picnic etc etc..
So many things to do, yet so little time left..
Hmmm.. I may not blog that often..
Best of luck to everyone out there, whatever you're doing.. : )

moody
feel like crying again, dont know what happened these days, but i feel i'm depressed, and miss home very much, last week when that backache got really serious i cried for hours.. i thought i was fine. but i merely seemed ok.. yesterday night i cried to sleep.. i didnt and wouldn't want to admit this, im never like that.. but now it's very difficult.. to hear your friend crying out loud, not being able to help, it made me even depressed.. my tears came out on its own.. it reminded me few days ago when i locked the room and cried on my own, trying to lower my voice.. i couldn't figure out why, it lasts too long.. hope things go well soon, hope the girls in the house will all be fine soon..
i get back and stay strong after the tears. i hope you can make it too.

You must be Jo King!
Just saw the BBC News regarding the most unfortunate names. It did make me laugh out loud. Have a look - click here : )
Retired airman Stan Still, 76, from Cirencester, Gloucestershire, said his name had been "a blooming millstone around my neck my entire life".
"When I was in the RAF my commanding officer used to shout, 'Stan Still, get a move on' and roll about laughing," he said.
"It got hugely boring after a while."
Susan Mee, Doncaster
"My name was Susan Frame. I am a lawyer. I met and married Robert who is a banker. His surname is Mee. Now we are Sue Mee, a lawyer, and Rob Mee, a banker - ironic? I have taken no end of stick for this, believe me."
This one is so hilarious!! A family name - Mee.. Imagine a lawyer saying her name is "Sue Me" and a banker "Rob Me"... XDD
How about Curry Mee, Pan Mee, Indo Mee..
OK. I do agree that it's kind of rude to laugh at other's name.. no offence taken please.. well, me myself also have a surname that can make jokes of...

WTH.. PMS Buddy?
Guess what I've found:
PMS Buddy Saving relationships, one time at a month!
And they even have it on facebook.. PMS Buddy on Facebook -_-"
Does that mean that when your auntie's visiting they'll give you (or your bf, or whoever use it) a notification? If so, the whole friends network is going to know when your auntie's visiting lor? - then they can write on your wall sending regards etc etc.. OK, perhaps I think too much, perhaps it doesnt work at all.. :D
Isn't that ridiculous? I mean, is it that serious? I know la, perhaps those stuff are set up for some kind of "Just For Fun" purposes, but I do think people may take it quite seriously..
And, ya lar, recent years I started to feel that they do affect my mood, I can get moody and very low without very apparent reasons, and I'm glad there's something to blame, i.e. the hormone. But I guess it's not everyone who get affected (right?). at least previously I wasn't and sometimes I'm not. Whereas for many people, they are like in PMS all the time - very irritable and impetuous all the time.. this includes some guys..
This reminds me our geography teacher (Ms. 翁明娇) during high school.. ahahahaha.. She used to be a good teacher and she teached really well I'd say, but the latter few years she became really impatient and @#$%^&*... Then a few guys in our class "spotted" her PMS quite accurately.. ahahahaha.. good old memory.
Anyway, perhaps somebody try the site or application, then tell us whether it's useful la k? :D

Tuesday Blue
Haih.. I don't know what's wrong with me today, had been so low and moody, not even chocolate can cheer me up. Then all day long, apart from attending class in the morning and talking with mama, I did literally nothing! Supposed to start a bit reading for Thinking and Reasoning research, but.. haih.. What's wrong What's wrong? Menopause perhaps? Ahahaha.. crazy, I'm not even 22 okk. And, don't know why whenever it's assignment peak season or exam period, I'll definitely get addicted to at least one game -whatever it is. This time is at Viwawa, a game called Bridge (guess it's one of the most addicting games for me, it's different from some previous ones because I call it an intellectual game.. ha).
Then just now discussed Marv's birthday with they all, even kek sim.. I wonder whether people actually step into other's shoe and think for other.. And the conference can surround the same question for ages. I don't know why I was so irritable also.. hmm.. But they all are really quite cincai.. If I were Marv I'd be probably disappointed by us, especially it's his 21st.. Anyway, I'm not the so-called "bro" or "good friend" or whatever.. I do my best..
Something made me feel better is the conversation with mum, basically most of the times we're discussing similar topics, like their attendance to my convo this end of year, when erge's going to marry, how busy ahjeh is and how free gogo is, my weight (XD), job hunting after final, how bad the economic is, papa's knee recovery, or what happen to those 3 gu 6 poh. The delighting point is they will most probably be coming to see me and for my convo, and my sis may come with them.. well, may.. Oh whose parents are also coming? We can form an old folks group.. XD
OK. Finally, if you did notice, I said "had been so low and moody", because just now I read Felicia's fwd email ("OMFG our Miss Pageant Malaysia).. and.. really LMAO.. Please let me know if you'd like to see, for.. god sake I'm not going to forward them to everyone, feel so sorry for the girls.. but it will probably cheer you up .. : D
But still, I'm not motivated to start my assignment.. no mood.. no mood.. no mood..
P.S. When I saw the "Blue" (title there) in green, Stroop effect came to my mind.. -_-"

A New Life
I had been thinking to get something alive in my room for quite a long time, (it'd be great if it can be a dog!!) until the beginning of December last year, I've got a little "bulb" from WoolWorth when it was going to close down. Guess this is not the first time I grow a plant, (for sure, most people grow something like mung bean or water chestnut during primary school, right?) but it still excites me quite much.. especially when its grow has become so obvious day by day..!!
This is its box, a white hyacinth, originally I planned to get a blue purple one, but I thought I was going to Austria skiing trip that time and I wouldn't be able to take good care of it (in fact it doesn't really require any care..), so being stupid I didn't buy it when I first saw it in the shop. Later I realized that it was actually going to close down, and I can actually get it first, while start growing it later.. Unfortunately, few days later when I went again, there were only plenty of white left! :( :( - Anyway I do love white colour very much.. it's just the blue purple look great on it.
If you don't know what a hyacinth is, it's 风信子, sounds any familiar? Thanks to Chorpeng, because I didn't know that as well, but when I told him I bought a bawang for £3, immediately he asked whether it is 风信子.. geng ley..! OK, not going to grumble too much.. This post is dedicated to my little hyacinth - its growing process, and I'll be updating it often until it's really a grown up.. (eh, that's not a human la..)
2008.12.23 The beginning.. this was how it looked like.. a bawang, right? (Bear with me the quality of the pic, I don't understand why on earth I took a pic without focus..)
2008.12.29 About one week later.. I could finally see "something" there.. (Eh? is there a difference?)
2009.01.19 I checked it nearly daily I think, and about three weeks later, it had just made this BIT difference..
Same day, perhaps there wasn't much difference "up there", but its roots grew damn fast..
2009.01.22 it speeds up a bit, I can see its grow
2009.01.30 When I showed it to Bee Peng, she said probably by the time we graduate the flower will be there.. lol
2009.02.06 Miracle of life..
2009.02.09 It's growing very much faster now..
2009.02.10 I can see the flower.. Can you???
2009.02.11 They came out the next day.. :) :)
2009.02.12 Finally.. (notice the dates, it started growing fast fairly recently..)
Same day, another view.. I can see that it will be very pretty.. hahaha.. What do you think?

End of CNY

Snow Snow Snow
For the first time in a few decades.. there were heavy snow in Cheltenham!!(and many regions in the UK) (2nd Feb)
The view from my room. It's a primary school. (5th Feb)Those kids are the ones who normally wake me up in the morning.. Haha..
A pretty snowlady by Bee Peng and me..hmm OK la Felicia did contribute a bit.. (5th Feb)
Snow fight + Snowman making in Hardwick campus today.. Peiman and Stephy not in the pic..(6th Feb)
Would you really love snow if you live in a city that snow throughout the winter?I don't think I would.. they are damnnn dirty and geli!
and in fact snow brings people so much inconvenience..
(e.g. class being cancelled, public transportation not working, cars being stuck in snow, heating bills going up, bruise after snow fight -_-")
But occasionally playing snow can create so much fun!! : D
Anyway, I hope this is the last heavy snowing day..
because the snow has been sooo distracting..
it ruined my plan of doing assignments every day! :( :(
I just can't help playing them, because we really haven't got much opportunity like this!!
Snow Castle..! Never knew snow can be used like sand, I want to try!! -Taken from BBC News

Is Britain going bankrupt?
As most of my friends know, I normally read SinChew news and BBC (not daily but nearly). Yet never did I come across any news regarding whether or not the Britain is going bankrupt. And guess when I first got this news? It was from my parents -_-" Yea la my dad is like "digesting" the newspaper every day, but I thought this is "nearer" and more related to me, why never I came across it? Just saw the news regarding the we-think-wonderful-yet-destructive snow has cost the government more than 1 thousand million pounds.. and if it (the wonderful snow) gets "further", more than 3000 companies may close down. Haih.. I feel a bit sorry I've been expecting snow (yes, have been, it's still going on..), will share the photos I take these days next time, in a delightful post. Those are some articles I googled and think some may interest you..
"Obama is talented but he is not a magician. Instead, Gordon Brown's nightmare, in which we are all trapped, is going to get much worse."
Iain Martin: Gordon Brown brings Britain to the edge of bankruptcy
“We’ve been in a much worse position than we are today.
“People are getting unbelievably gloomy, but I have been around long enough to remember the 70s when we had to have the IMF [International Monetary Fund bail-out], we had a three-day working week, we had candles in rooms and we couldn’t get home by train.
“We are not going to have that.”

Bitch War
Note: Just a grumbling post written yesterday.
Yesterday seems to be the worst working day since I started working here two years ago. Don't know why they made things sooo complicated. This morning the supervisor Jess scolded Emily and Jess II, later when we were all working in fitting room, I asked them what just happened -- basically just a topic la. After done, Jess asked me to give her a hand, and somehow secretly, she asked me whether Emily said anything about her to me. I was kind of shocked and just smiled, then said she didn't really say anything (a very silly lie, obviously everyone complains after they get scolded, right?) but said I did ask her what she talked to them. Then, she asked "Would you tell what they said or you don't want to tell?" Tell me, if you were me what will you answer her? Why on earth would she expect me that I'm her "gang" and I'll betray those that working hard with me? They are very new, I forgive them and give chances, but I never want to be involved in those British bitch war, I want George back! Everyone on our floor wants him back.. The sentence that I heard the most after she's become supervisor - "I'm very disappointed" So what? I'm also very disappointed and I hate working with you!! Those words make really low morale. I know they know me and they do appreciate me, sometimes after they scold everyone, they will "secretly" come to me and say those words weren't meant to say me. But that doesn't help.. and it will never help. I wonder why there are so many bitches here and why they all don't like each other, at the same time, they call each other bitch! lmao
I guess despite my age of 21+ age, I'm still no good in getting along well with people. I just make mistakes and wrong judgments all the time. Was it due to the way of avoidance? Now I'm thinking to get myself out from first floor... But there is no point of having we all leaving but them staying, we had been working really happily before they came. Why would the management blame us when there are problems? Steve met me in Tesco that day and tricked me, he even said that "we have been working together for two years you should know my voice" Right, so now does he know me well then? Ok perhaps he does, but how about the rest of the colleagues? Didn't he realize we had been all fine until Jess and Becky lead us?
It is just so happening. I feel being used. No, I was in fact being used. Perhaps most of the time when I feel sad it isn't really about me, but ... I want to stop myself from being involved, especially when people gossip.. because it makes me bias and can't judge things and people justly, but apparently I fail most of the time.. ha. It's kind of surprising.. because I still care, after all this way of brain washing. This is a sequel to the post Disgusted. ridiculous, when I reread, I realized those words still apply! It's simply a complicated world. It's fine sometimes when you scheme, but not intrigue, especially towards those that you call good friends.

Call me Call me..

moobs - man boobs
The number of men having breast reduction operations in the UK is rising dramatically, but is this really the result of the media spotlighting the physical flaws of male celebrities?
see this: Why are we suddenly obsessed with 'man boobs'?
There are more geli pictures.. but I don't want to pollute my blog..
it's for semua lapisan masyarakat.. XD
we just discussed about this that day.
Sammi said her boyfriend is gainning weight.. and she told him,
probably soon or later his moobs will be bigger than hers.. LOL

Imeem, Seeqpod, Project Playlist etc
Thai Buffet

Dream
I'm very sure I don't feel anything special toward him but recently this person keeps appearing in my dreams. That interests me to a certain point. As the Chinese says what you think/miss during the day, you'd dream about it at night How if I don't think? Can anyone, especially those psychologists, or who knows a bit about oneirology give me some possible answers?
The thing is I don't normally remember any of my dreams, and most of the time when people sharing their dreams excitedly, no matter it's a horror, happy or strange one, I would be thinking why I never be able to remember any, although sometimes I might recall a bit, which "happen" right before I wake up. This makes me think of deja vu, or a more scientific term - Extra Sensory Perception- like a scene, a chat, a person, whatever la, something that seems sooo familiar happen exactly as "last time", but you know it hasn't happened in "reality"... interesting, isn't it?
And I have a good old friend, who quite oftenly, leaves me offline messages on MSN, telling me she dreams about me again, over and over again. Previously, she even said that I appeared in her dreams 3-4 days continuously.. I didn't see that could be annoying, but amusingly promised her I'd try my best not visiting her too often in her dream. And, sometimes when there were several who told me they dreamt about me, I'd 'assumed' that's the reason I didn't get good sleep because I kept 'visiting' so many of my friends at night - trying to be funny only la k -_-"
But now I can see that it could be annoying. Because that's a strange feeling, that person means nothing too much than a friend / good friend, why must be him that keep coming to my dream? What affect whether or not I can remember? What do you think?
P.S. the dream here doesn't refer to that type like Martin Luther's : D
