be considerate

how much you place the importance on some sorts of thing
might simply just like how much others do
step into other's shoes - think!
especially when it comes to people around you who care about you and think you matter to them

Don't do onto others what you don't wish others do to you (Sheu, 2008)
also, treat others like the way you want them to treat you

im not referring this to anyone particular.. hehe
solely think that being considerate is very important whenever we are surrounded by people
(and yes! its like all the time we are)
btw when im saying this
it doesnt mean im really a considerate person after all
but
im learning la.. : )

that was supposed to be the original post when i first thought about it
but now i realized
being considerate makes life sucks =/
grrrrr.. damn disappointed by these people..!!!

Vietnam To Ban Small Chested Riders From Motorcycle Riding

Strange but true. The Government from Vietnam are planning to ban small chested people from riding motorcycles! If your chest measures less than 28 inches (72 centimeters) you will not be allowed to ride a motorcycle.

The idea comes their Ministry of Health. They want only people who are in good health to ride motorcycles, and, according to the politicians, if you have a small chest, you are not healthy.

The same proposed law also forbids people from riding a motorcycle if they suffer from enlarged livers or sinusitis. Mind you, this applies only to riding motorcycles! If you are a small chested woman, suffering from an enlarged liver and have a sinusitis problem, you are allowed to drive an enormous truck. No problem....

I see an enormous market for breast implants, male and female, or is this just a ploy for the cops to start measuring the chest of every female riding a bike? /Mike Werner

you might not realize how much they rely on motorcycles..

it is not very good to know that actually there are many friends around you
facing lots problems and difficulties, under great stress or being depressed
while they all look so OK, or some even seem "happy" and enjoying their lives..
i know people dont normally write their mood on faces
but.. it's still not a good feeling to realize that

it's a small world

OMG!!
the world is so damn small..!!
i was checking my facebook this morning
and saw the news feed
"ChorPeng Ng joined the group SJK (C) Kong Hoe, Klang."

huhhhh??? i've known this person for 3 years (through friends when we were all in ELS)
(i know his name even longer, because his best friend changed to my school in senior 1 (form 4) and became.. my kind-of-good-friend..)
and i'd say we have been chatting quite a lot
but i never knew he is from KongHoe
ok, being aware that he was busy recently
i just left a comment... (checking whether he joined wrongly..)
then he poped up in msn
saying he also wanted to ask me why i joined the group (previously)
omg... actually i've always been proud of the fact that im from konghoe
because it is quite famous in klang and has a long history
(guess what? my dad is from konghoe, so is my sis, and even my 2nd bro's gf!!)
and the thing is also, he is that kind... comfortable-to-chat-with type person
we've been talking so much but never mentioned this!!
ok thanks to facebook

once again, we show how small the world is..
it seems that the six degrees of sepation is quite possible..

disappointed : (

its really weird
and i dont know why its like that, all in a sudden
i dont even know how to react and what im expected to do
but im disappointed that there is now a barrier
an unexpected one : (
what disappoint me even more is that nobody seems bother to explain

actually there has always been a barrier
which i had been thinking solutions for it
but now..
friends huh?

I'm Yours

i just want to share something to make the post longer..

be rich mentally

i talked with a guy who is my friend's friend yesterday
it will take too long to explain why i was talking to him, so lets skip this
one of the topic we talked about was our family
i told him:
i have 2 bros 1 sis
my eldest brother has just finished his MBA and is a civil engineer
another brother has worked as a programmer for quite a few years, well, he earns a lot : P
my sister has done her actuarial science degree in canada and is now working in m'sia
me? ok, he knows im currently doing my degree in the uk
his first reaction was like "wow your family is all ren cai" (talented people)
hahahha, yes i agree and in fact we like to say so!
but it is not really the truth la haiya...
next he started talking about his family, which is.. a bit sad
im not going to describe it in details
but he mentioned that he is a salesman and he has lots experience he just needs $ to start his own business
i told him, my dad wasn't much educated but he could still be successful : )
"with your support, i definitely can"
huh? i assumed that he was kidding so i asked "financially?", followed by "hahaha.."
he carried on saying how difficult his life is to support his family etc etc
was he really trying to convince me to support him???
omfg! what happen to people nowadays?
im NOT rich, i never think or assume so, i dont even think im from a rich family
i just have parents who think being educated is a must for all of us
even if my parents have some money, that's theirs, right?!
i know im lucky and im really grateful having all these
but shouldn't people stop complaining and start working hard, trying hard to help themselves to achieve a better life?

Dad's knees surgery

papa had his knees surgery yesterday
these were what i got from my bro

"Operation over. leg still no respond yet. he's resting. look tired. we
just back home. visiting hour is over. going there again at 5pm"

"Moved from HDU to normal ward just now at 5pm. We are going to visit him again later when brother and sister are home"

hmm i hope i were there, but i know papa planned to do this after i left
hope everything will be fine, especially the recovery of both knees

I moved my blog...

finally!

i know i'd been saying this for 2 or 3 years
but just couldn't decide when and where to move
until few months ago i set up this page
and have been visiting my page always because i listed all the blogs that i follow here
without updating any posts though

but why is it today?
because i just realized there is a new function that just launched on sept 11th - "blogs im following"
i guess its just something like RSS
but in a form that... i could follow those blogs anonymously and also privately (its on my dashboard, i dont even need to show them all in my blog) : P
ok Google now i love you even more
and thus decided to abandon my msn spaces that had been with me for many years now

well i will try my very best to update it often
and keep it both concise and clear : )
